INFLIGHT/VENICE

Arrive at Venice Marco Polo Airport

Meet & Greet by STATS Tours local staff member.

Coach transfer into Venice

Half Day guided walking tour of Venice with local guide, viewing St. Mark’s Basilica, The Grand Canal, Bridge of Sighs, St Mark’s Square, Doges Palace, etc.

Transfer to the Park Hotel in Chioggia where you will be staying for one night.

Chioggia is situated at the southern most end of the Venetian Lagoon and is a mini-Venice surrounded on all sides by the still, blue waters.

Day 3

RIMINI

Luxury coach departs for Rimini

Upon arrival, check into Residence Hotel Maria Grazia for three nights.

Rimini is the center of fun for north east Italy, situated on the Adriatic Sea, its white sand beaches and lively night life scene attract over four million tourists a year.

The city’s historic center was founded as a Roman military base in the 3rd Century BC. The Old Town features an Augustinian Arch and the stone Tiberius Bridge. The Tempio Malatestiano is a must! Much of the city’s ancient architecture was destroyed during World War Two, making way for the beach culture www.demo-brainpulse.com that is Rimini’s modern legacy.

RIMINI

First game in the morning. Afternoon at leisure in Rimini for sightseeing, shopping or just lying on the beach sunbathing.

Day 5

Coach departs for the Republic of San Marino.

San Marino is one of the smallest republics in the world. Situated south of Rimini in the central Apenines, is dominated by the three peaked Mount Titano (2,425 feet), the capital, San Marino, is located on the slopes of Mount Titano. According to tradition, San Marino was founded AD301 by Marinus a Christian stonecutter. San Marino has associations with some of history’s leading characters, ie, Napoleon Bonaparte, Garibaldi and Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln wrote a letter in 1861 to the Captains Regiment, showing his sympathy for the people of San Marino, saying “Although your Dominion is small, nevertheless your estate is one of the most honoured throughout history”. From the town of Borgomaggiore, a cable car carries tourists up to the capital, San Marino Town. A walk through the forest paths will take you to the three tower fortresses that crown the peaks of Mount Titano. There are stunning views across the countryside to Rimini and the Adriatic Sea and the Historic Palace reconstructed in 1894, with it’s Ruritanian Guardsmen.

Day 6
RIMINI/PISA/FLORENCE

Breakfast

Leave Rimini this morning on your private coach for Pisa, home of the famous leaning tower. Once one of the major seaports of medieval Italy, Pisa is now a major tourist city. In addition to the Tower, you will have a chance to see the Baptistry and the Doumo. Before departure, you will have some time to walk around Pisa.

Afternoon transfer to Florence, one of the truly great Cities of the World!

On arrival check into Hotel Corona d’Italia in Florence for three nights.

The city of Florence, home to the De Medici Princes and the poet Dante Alighieri, is a throwback to the Renaissance period. The treasures of this city are unrivalled. Many art lovers consider them the most hallowed on earth! Here is where da Vinci and Michaelangelo trod! Florence is home to the shop lined Ponte Vecchio, the distinctive Duomo and the priceless Uffizi Gallery etc etc etc.

Rest of Day for sightseeing.

Day 7

FLORENCE

Breakfast

Morning walking tour of Florence with local guide, afternoon free for further exploration. Perhaps you will want to visit the Uffizi Gallery, one of the finest Art Galleries in the world, or the Academia, home to Michaelangelo’s “David”. You can actually climb to the top of the dome in the Duomo for a spectacular view of the city.

Day 8
FLORENCE

Breakfast

The entire day is yours to explore and shop. Florence is considered to be one of the best Cities in the world to shop for leather goods. Whether it’s shoes, handbags, or clothes, you will not find better leather products than in Florence. You can bargain in street markets for just about anything, even the beautiful silk products Florence is famous for. Don’s forget the Ponte Vecchio for shopping.

Day 9
FLORENCE/ROME

Breakfast

Morning transfer to Rome.

Check into Hotel Siracusa in Rome for three nights.

Rome, the “Eternal City”, and home of the Pops, is as active as ever !
Along its way, the city has probably collected more antiquities and monuments than any other city on earth. Among them are the Colosseum, the Forum, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, the Vatican City, St. Peter’s, Sistine Chapel and countless other attractions!

Evening at Leisure in Rome.

Day 10
ROME

Breakfast

Half Day sightseeing walking Tour of Rome with local Guide, utilizing public transport.

Rest of day at leisure for sightseeing, shopping etc.
